I was born in San Mateo, but grew up in Brentwood, where I graduated from Liberty High School. I attended the University of Oregon earning a Bachelors Degree in History; class of 2008. In 2011, I earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Brandman University and graduated from Saint Mary's College with a Masters of Arts in Teaching Leadership in 2017.
Over the summer my wife and I purchased our first home in Walnut Creek! My wife Megan is also a teacher in Pleasanton. We spent the summer settling in and exploring our new neighborhood. In my spare time, I love watching and reading about all sports. I am an avid College Football fan (Go Ducks!), 49er, Warriors, and Giants fan. I love playing golf, spending time with friends and family, and being outside. Before teaching in the classroom, I was a substitute teacher for four years in various schools in the Brentwood Union School District. From there, I was a P.E. teacher in San Mateo for a year and a half before entering the classroom. Prior to Golden View, I taught 4th grade in San Leandro for three years. |
